On October 26-27, 2017, the Second International Conference on Inkjet Digital Manufacturing and 3D Printing was held at the Suzhou International Expo Center. Mr. Cai Daosheng, Chairman of EASYMFG, had the honor to attend and share insights with leading experts and scholars from both domestic and international communities in the field of inkjet digital manufacturing and 3D printing.

Chairman Cai Daosheng of EASYMFG

Mr. Cai Daosheng, Chairman of EASYMFG, delivered a presentation on the theme of "Inkjet 3D Printing Equipment/Application." The presentation began with an overview of the principles and development of binder jetting 3D printing technology, followed by detailed explanations of the principles and requirements of both binder jetting and material jetting technologies, as well as their applications in metal and sand casting. Additionally, through examples from HP printing, the presentation illustrated the potential applications of binder jetting technology. Finally, Mr. Cai introduced the printing routes designed independently by EASYMFG.

Randy Fagerquist

Randy Fagerquist, Chief Scientist of Kodak, delivered a presentation on the theme of "Continuous Inkjet Printing Head." He explained the process of preparing printing heads using MEMS technology, detailed the formation and movement of droplets, and optimized parameters. He also introduced the basic structure of Kodak's printing equipment and provided practical printing examples.

Professor Denis Cormier

Professor Denis Cormier from Rochester Institute of Technology delivered a presentation on the theme of "Multifunctional 3D Printing." He first introduced the principles, design, and operation of printing devices, then elaborated on the multifunctional applications of 3D printing in fields such as electronics, chemistry, and biology. Finally, he showcased examples of multifunctional 3D printing in metal, ceramic, and polymer directions.

As a leader in domestic binder jetting 3D printing technology, EASYMFG hopes to have more opportunities for communication and exchange with leading industries both domestically and abroad, igniting sparks of innovative ideas.
